Sparky & Bear is at the idea stage of creating a startup to bring the world of e-learning & tech to children throughout Indonesia, in three phases:
(1) Online Education Portal
Portal to the wealth of Indonesian language educational materials that are available online, linked to the National Curriculum & lesson plans, plus support forum for teachers.
(2) Offline Education WiFi Sever
All available Indonesian language Creative Commons & Open Source educational materials will be made available offline via inexpensive WiFi servers. We will work with non-profit World Possible to make this available via their Rachel Offline service & products.
(3) Travel School
A travelling school on wheels to bring tech education to children throughout Indonesia and to show how offline servers can be used by teachers to enhance learning.
